VP Leni's "Mahal Ako ng Diyos" Statement Receives with Criticisms

Outgoing Vice President of the Republic of the Philippines, Vice Pres. Leni Robredo made an interesting statement to her supporters and the Filipino audience in general.

According to VP Leni she is grateful she lost because God was very kind to her and spare her from the huge problems that awaits President Duterte's successor.

VP Leni was quoted as saying "Ako kasi naniniwala ako na yung lahat na nangyayari ay may dahilan. So ako, nung hindi ako nanalo, marami akong sinasabi sa sarili ko pero one of the things that I kept telling myself was talagang mahal ako ng Diyos na siguro iniiwas ako sa mas malaking problema."

The statement released by the Vice President was met with criticisms on social media, fellow Bicolano Edwin Jamora was one of the first to criticize VP Leni's statement.

Aside from Jamoar, another prominent Robredo critic, Manila Bulletin writer Krizette Chu criticized the Vice President on social media through Krizette's FB Page KLC Happy Thoughts and Cellphone Repair.

According to Krizette Laureta Chu, VP Leni Robredo run for President and yet, she look at the Philippines as a huge problem.

This is indeed expected from her if she wins, she will have to own all the problems in the Philippines.

The veteran blogger called Robredo as a clown for having such mindset. She said we have to be very thankful she did not win.

Read the Complete Statement of Krizette Chu:

Yung tumakbo ka as President pero ang tingin mo sa Pilipinas, “mas malaking problema.”

Natural kapag nanalo ka pro-problemahin mo ang Pilipinas.

What a clown. Kaya Salamat talaga at hindi sya ang nanalo. Grabe pagka shenge shenge. Can you imagine saying “iniwas ka sa malaking problema” if you won as President?
