Atty. Baligod revealed during the press conference, which is nowhere to be found among the major mainstream media in the Philippines, that part of the money delivered was allegedly sent to former Senator Antonio Trillanes.

Based on the affidavit from the ex-Marines, Atty. Baligod claimed that the former soldiers sent some suitcases of cash to Trillanes as part of the funding for the ICC investigation against former Pres. Rody Duterte.

The affidavit claimed that during the ICC investigators' visit to the Philippines last December 2024, Trillanes allegedly paid for all the hotel accommodation, food, travel, and other expenses incurred by the foreigners.

According to the Marines' affidavit, as part of being executive assistants to Congressman Zaldy Co, they were tasked to convert the P56 million each suitcase into around $2 Million and given to Trillanes.

Atty. Baligod did not release the copy of the official affidavit to the media yet because, according to him, the affidavit will be filed first with the Office of the Ombudsman. He also revealed that a copy of the affidavit will be given to the ICC and all the member countries to prove that some of their members were allegedly involved in corruption.

The camp of former Sen. Antonio Trillanes and former House Speaker Zaldy Co did not release an official statement yet to counter the claims of the 18 Marines and Atty. Baligod.

The mainstream media in the Philippines did not release any news yet regarding the expose but social media supporters of the Duterte family were already spreading news about the expose in social media and other platforms.

This is a developing story....
