Rep. Boying Remulla Claims Attendees of Rally in Cavite Paid P500 Each

A congressman from Cavite, 7th District Representative Boying Remulla claims that attendees of a campaign rally in General Trias, Cavite on Friday were paid P500.00 each. 

The expose was made by Rep. Boying Remulla was revealed during a DZRH program. It was discussed by DZRH anchors on Saturday, March 5, 2021.

Rep. Remulla was quoted as saying "Sa siyudad ng Cavite, may politiko na nagbabayad ng limang daan sa bawat aattend. Tapos may jeep, tapos meron silang staging area, may t-shirt, may uniporme, kumpleto. Kaya alam mo na hindi indigenous kasi naka-uniporme. Hinahakot eh."

The congressman added further that "Kagabi ginastusan nila 'yun, siguro mahina-hina ‘yung mga anim hanggang walong milyon. Kasi nga desperado na. Kasi ang survey sa Cavite, 64-15." Remulla stated on Saturday's interview. 

According to Rep. Remulla 64 percent of Cavite voters presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos. When asked about the other candidate supported by 15 percent of voters in the Province, Remulla said, "Si pink, si dilaw."

Although Rep. Remulla did not name names or identified any politician on his expose about the P500 incentives giving to all the attendees of the political rally, many believed that he was referring to the VP Leni Robredo camp. 

On Friday, the camp of presidential bet Leni Robredo and Kiko Pangilinan held a grand rally in General Trias, Cavite for the Leni-Kiko tandem that was reportedly attended by an estimated 45,000 kakampinks or supporters of VP Leni. 

Rep. Remulla also clarified that it is indeed okay or he allowed any political rally in Cavite but they should cooperate with the local government units involved. He was just doing his job, particularly giving warnings to those who had triple parking in the streets of Cavite due to their political rally.


In the first place most of the people who attended the event were not originally living in Cavite but they were allegedly coming from different province and cities nearby.
