One of the country's most prominent businessman and eminent accountant behind the successful accounting firm Sycip, Gorres and Velayo and Co aka SGV and Co, Washington Sycip burned down Kare Davila during one of her exclusive interview on national TV.
A rare interview with Washington Sycip a few years ago with veteran TV host Karen Davila emerged online showing how Karen Davila's facial expression changed when her subject shared about the good things brought about by the Marcos Law years.
Karen Davila who is notorious on social media for being a biased anchor and TV host especially everything against the Marcoses, the Arroyos and the Dutertes.
In an one Davila's interview eight years ago, Karen Davila explained to Washington Sycip that she will flash a photo and Sycip will say something about the photo, the truth and how he feels about the person since he'd seen, met and know all of them.
The first photo that was flashed on screen during the exclusive ANC interview was no other than the popular head of state, the late President Ferdinand Marcos.
Washington Sycip started spaeking the good things about Marcos, and started describing the prominent leader as a very, very bright person. He passed the bar exam without even finishing Law School during his younger days.
The veteran accountant recalled that his first contact with Marcos was when the President had an executive secretary named Rafael Salas whom Sycip described as a very bright person also.
Sycip narrated that Pres. Marcos asked Salas to solve the rice problem in the country. Salas then called Sycip and told him to solve the problem but Sycip don't have any knowledge about rice farming so he brought Cesar Virata to a meeting with Salas and eventually met Marcos to solve the problem.
Karen Davila interrupted and asked Sycip about his impression of Marcos and Sycip used the word "very bright and sincere," to describe Marcos and the former President should be recognized for bringing in some of the world's most prominent industrial businesses and companies investing in the country.
