A viral video is now circulating online showing an alleged traffic enforcer caught smacking a food delivery driver in Consolacion, Cebu on Tuesday, August 17, 2021.
The said video went viral on Wednesday after it was posted on social media. It was even featured in the social media account of SunStar Cebu, one of the local news network based in the island of Cebu.
The food delivery rider was identified as Marcelino Merca and he was the one who took the video showing what really happened during the incident.
Based on the viral video, the confrontation started when the traffic enforcer flagged down the food delivery rider but it is clearly seen in the said video that the enforcer smack down the rider.
According to the traffic enforcer, she flagged down the rider but the incident resulted into a heated confrontation.
The video also showed how the traffic enforcer challenged the rider into a fist fight.
Marcelino Sabucido, the food delivery rider is a resident of Upper Tabok in Mandaue City. He got into an argument with a Consolacion traffic enforcer and their video became one of the hottest trending video today.
The poor food delivery rider is now detained at the Consolacion Municipal Police Station after the traffic enforcer filed a case against him.
