Veteran blogger and prominent supporter of Pres. Rody Duterte on social media, Krizette Laureta Chu burned down all the critics of the administration for the water shortage problems that hits Metro Manila and reminded them that the problem does exist way back 2010 but the outrage only happened today because it is an opportunity to attack the government.
In order to prove her point, Krizette Laureta Chu shared a screen shot photo of an article released by GMA News way back July 20, 2010. The article reads that the "Government admits water crisis in Metro Manila."
Former DPWH Secretary Rogelio Singson himself declared that "In the area of Maynila I believe they are in crisis situation because you are already affecting almost 50 percent."
According to Krizette Chu she felt disturbed with the recent incident regarding the water shortage but the overwhelming criticisms on social media against Pres. Duterte is indeed hurting the supporters of the President.
Krizette Chu asked to the critics on why they didn't make any noise when Ramos pitched the idea to privatize our water supply, and Arroyo, Estrada, Aquino put band aid solutions every time we had water shortage problems.
Read the Complete Statement of Krizette Laureta Chu:
As per usual, matagal na ang problema sa water shortage. Pero big deal ngayon kasi opportunity to attack the government. Seriously.
You didnt make any noise when Ramos pitched the idea to privatize our water supply, and Arroyo, Estrada, Aquino put band aid solutions every time we had water shortage problems. Im so happy for y'all who mustve missed the problems of the past years and parang gulat na gulat ngayon na may water shortage pala.
Wag ganon. May kasama pang fearmongering. Kasalanan na naman ng current government. Paki check yung screenshot na 2010 pa ha.
Tapos ngayon ang woke ng lahat. Dont worry, as per usual, your working government will fix this problem.
Ask questions, ask journalists to investigate and knock on the doors of both private and public entities and departments, but don't pretend you've never heard of water shortages in the Philippines because you're only proving your ignorance.
Seriously, you think this water shortage is caused by China again? So dati? Tapos nung hindi nila sinolusyonan, keribels lang? Walang massive outcry.
Considering ngayon isang city pa lang ang major crisis, dati ang dami.
Gamitin ang pagiging "woke" sa tamang paraan. Ayaw ng fake news di ba?
