One of the country's most popular blogger and considered as the most influential supporter of Pres. Rody Duterte on social media decided to resigned from her post as Assistant Secretary of the Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO). Asec Mocha Uson said that she was making a "sacrifice," after claiming that some lawmakers constantly delay deliberations of PCOO budget.
Asec Mocha Uson announced her resignation during the Senate Committee on Finance on the proposed Budget of the PCOO for next year. Uson claimed that some lawmakers constantly deliberations on the budget of the PCOO because of her, Uson said she was resigning to allow things to move on.
The former PCOO Assistant Secretary was quoted as saying "Taon-taon ay sinasabihan ako na huwag punahin ang ilang mga mambabatas para hindi ipitin ang budget ng PCOO. Nakakagalit man ngunit ganyan ang sistema natin sa kasalukuyan. Bulok man ngunit ito kelangang sundin," Uson told a hearing.
Mocha Uson added further that "At dahil dyan, ako na ang magsasakprisyo para maipasa na ang budget ng PCOO. Ako ay nagdesisyon nang magresign," she added.

The veteran blogger then made a warning and controversial statement as she stated "Para sa mga bumabatikos sa akin, huwag kayong magkakamaling isipin na nagtagumpay kayo. Hindi ako nagbitiw sa position dahil takong akong harapin kayo. Gusto ko lang na pag nagkaharap tayo patas ang laban," she said.
Asec Mocha Uson accused the left-leaning members of Congress , whom she did not name, were angry at her after she interviewed Lumad leaders who revealed that they were being used by the CPP-NPA to oust Pres. Rody Duterte.
