Presidential spokesperson Harry Roque burns one of the staunchest critics of Pres. Rody Duterte, UP Professor Jay Batungbakal on his comments about the Philippines joint exploration with China as Spox Roque suggests Batungbakal to read more Supreme Court decision before making an opinion.
During a press briefing held at Katipunan, Zamboanga del Norte, Spox Harry Roque burned down UP Professor Jay Batungbakal whose statement was used as the basis of the questions asked by a member of the Malacanang Press Corps.

Spox Harry Roque burned down Prof. Batungbakal by suggesting the UP Professor to learn more and read more Supreme Court decisions before making an opinion.
According to Spox Roque, one of the main problems of the critics of the Duterte administration is the mere fact that they want to be justices of the Supreme Court, they need to wait and hopefully they will be given a chance.
Spox Harry Roque was also quoted as saying "Yung mga nagpipilit po na pinagbabawal ang joint exploration eh, mag-antay po kayo ng susunod na desisyon ng Korte Suprema, ang desisyon po ngayon, ang batas na umiiral ay sinulat po ni ating Chief Justice Panganiban. Constitutional po ang mga joint exploration, doon po sa area na walang dispute gaya ng 57 at doon sa area na merong dispute gaya ng 52."
The Spokesperson burned down Prof. Batungbakal by saying "Magbasa ng desisyon ng Korte Suprema bago magbigay ng opinyon."
