Pres. Duterte Plans to Replace UP Students with Lumads If They Won't Stop from Walk Out Protests

The tough-talking President of the Philippines revealed his plans to replace some students who walked out from their classes to stage a protest against the government. The very first President from Mindanao have had enough of the UP students who chose to "walkout" of their classes than to study.

According to President Duterte, he will try to give an opportunity to the Lumads in Mindanao for a better education and if it is necessary he will replace all student protesters from UP who joined the walkout protest to be replace by Lumads who are interested to study using the people's money.

During a speech at the indigenous people's summit in Davao City, Pres. Duterte said that he would give the slots of the student rallyists to the bright lumads who didn't have the opportunity or funds to study in a prestigious university like the University of the Philippines.

Pres.

Libre diyan,” he added.

The very first President from Mindanao also added that "Diyan nalang kayo sa kalye. Go ahead!

Lumads are the indigenous people in Mindanao who had lack of access in quality education and there were some reports that some Lumads were being used or brainwashed by the communist guerrilla movement to rebel against the government. In Mindanao according to some study, 9 out of 10 Lumad children have no access to education, however 233 alternative schools were provided to give education to them.
