Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) Assistant Secretary for social media Asec. Mocha Uson slams Sen. Risa Hontiveros on her latest statement in an interview with News 5, accusing Pres. Rody Duterte of using fake news.
Sen. Hontiveros was quoted as saying: "Togethe with its command of fake news, the Duterte government is testing the waters, measuring public perception regarding the acceptability of its twisted political projects and conditioning the people's mind to create false consent. It is a classic feature of an authoritarian regime."
Due to the statement released by Hontiveros on mainstream media, Asec Mocha Uson responded to the senator and told her more than 5 million followers the truth about who really are spreading fake news.
According to Mocha Uson, Sen. Hontiveros should address herself on the issue of fake news because the opposition allegedly spreads fake news in a daily basis.
