Mayor Sara Duterte posted an interesting story on her wall regarding an OFW daughter asking for her presence during her moving up ceremony in Pangasinan in which the incoming Vice President fulfilling her promise.
Incoming Vice President Sara Duterte confirmed through her official Facebook account that she was indeed present and attended the moving up ceremony of an OFW daughter who was so overwhelmed during the Moving Up Ceremony because one of the country's highest official graced the event.
Mayor Sara posted the following message on her official FB account:
"Si Angel Mae nakasama natin sa kampanya sa San Carlos, Pangasinan, nagbigay siya ng sulat sa akin nag -explain na kung puwede ako ang umattend sa moving-up ceremony niya dahil OFW and nanay niya at hindi pa makauwi. Sa ating mga graduates, ang tagumpay ay laging sariling sikap natin. Congratulations sa inyo lahat! Mahal natin si Angel Mae!"
The message of Mayor Duterte to all the graduates especially to Angel Mae went viral on social media with more than 240K likes, 11K comments and 21K shares. Mayor Duterte's message was accompanied with several photos showing the incoming Vice President and Angel Mae gracing the event.
Aside from the original message posted by Mayor Inday Sara Duterte of Davao City, numerous bloggers and supporters of both Duterte and Bongbong Marcos shared the interesting stories about Angel Mae and the incoming Vice President.
Veteran blogger and prominent social media personality also posted the following words of encouragement and congratulatory message to Angel Mae and Mayor Inday Sara Duterte's gestures of fulfilling her promise to an ordinary supporter and student.
Aside from MJ Reyes who shared the touching story of Mayor Inday Sara and her student supporter, fellow bloggers Thinking Pinoy and Mark Lopez also shared the touching story of how the Mayor of Davao City touched the lives of ordinary citizens.
There are reports and indeed videos of Inday Sara Duterte joining the family of Angel Mae enjoying their meals as part of their celebration. The video was also shared on social media and went viral immediately after it was posted online.
