Veteran lawyer and prominent celebrity Atty. Raymond Fortun shared his experienced as he got cancelled by a Leni supporter for wearing a green SARA ALL hoodie.
According to the celebrity lawyer who made a name for himself for handling high profile and celebrity cases in the country decried a supporter of the Vice President for his gestures towards the lawyer.
Atty. Raymond Fortun was even dubbed by a Leni supporter as TaBoGo or Tanga, Bobo at Gago. The lawyer noted that his social media is about the "cancel culture" of a Leni supporter although he was not referring to all Leni supporters.
Despite the experiences shared by Fortun for an alleged supporter cancelled her out, he did some favor by telling the harsh truths - the more they cancel people, resorts to name calling, instead of doing Leni a favor, they are just doing a disservice to Leni's cause.
The celebrity lawyer added further that a campaign is supposed to convince, to explain and to change people's hearts and minds to vote for their candidate. Having an elitist attitude is not going to do any good to their candidate.

I got “cancelled” by a Leni supporter for wearing a green SARA ALL hoodie. He called me a TaBoGo (Tanga Bobo Gago).
I was in Davao the other day. I wanted the hoodie because magandang gawa sya (embroidered yung letters, hindi printed). Does it mean anything? WALA.
Oh, mag-kumare kami ni Leni. See the second photo. Mukha ba akong kinikilig na ka-selfie sya? Mr. Civil Engineer na tumawag sa akin na TaBoGo, does this mean anything? WALA.
The truth is, wala pa akong napupusuan na kandidato. Unlike you na pumili ng kandidato based on personalities (and an apparent holier-than-thou attitude that your choice is better than mine), i will WAIT for the candidate to declare his/her platform of government before deciding who to vote. And NOBODY WILL KNOW what that vote is up to Election Day.
This post is about the “cancel culture” of a Leni supporter (NB hindi ko nilalahat). Do you think that by making a personal attack on others, calling them TaBoGo and unfollowing or blocking them will add to Leni’s votes? Nagkakamali ka, Mr. Civil Engineer. Mas nakikita ng tao ang sama ng ugali ng mga supporter ni Leni, at yan pa nga ang maging dahilan kaya LALONG BABAGSAK ang boto ng kandidato mo.
A “campaign” is supposed to be a period to convince, to explain and to change people’s hearts and minds. You do NOT do your candidate any favors by having an elitist mindset that “matalino ako kaya kay Leni ako at kayong lahat ay BOBOOOO!”
For the record, my wife is for BBM, while my 3 kids are for Leni. And we are just fine. In my family, we believe in democracy, free speech and an individual’s time-honored right to choose.
Mr. Civil Engineer, may oras ka pang magbago ng ugali mong panget. Kawawa naman kasi ang kandidato mo.
