Concerned netizen and prominent Duterte supporter MJ Quiambao Reyes reminds Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno that his Vice Mayor whose surname is a Lacuna also came from the family of former Vice Mayor Danny Lacuna which is contrary to his criticisms that he does not want someone to simply inherit the position.
According to MJ Reyes, the Mayor of Manila should be careful with his political pronouncements simply because he might be attacking someone who is close to him as the local chief executive of the City of Manila.
Manila Mayor Isko Moreno stated earlier that he does not want someone to simply inherit the presidency during next year's polls as he noted that he will not simply vote for someone who will simply inherit his or her position from a family member during the 2022 national elections.
"Basta hindi ako boboto ng nagmamana lang ng pwesto," Moreno stressed. "Kasi ang pwesto hindi minamana, hindi nililipat-lipat."

Siguro naman may naganap na botohan sa Manila, in-elect at hindi basta kinoronahan lang ang Vice mo, right?"
Reyes also reminded Mayor Isko that the father of his Vice Mayor, former Manila Vice Mayor Danilo "Danny" Lacuna and wife Melanie's assets were allegedly declared as ill-gotten wealth and as such, should be returned to the government.
Based on a 53-page ruling of Sandiganbayan as reported by GMA News Online, the anti-graft court said that the total value of the properties acquired by the couple from 1998 to 2004 amounted to P20,707,168.84 - an amount which is manifestly out of proportion from their combined income of P11,703,289.42 with a difference of more than P9 million is too large if the six-year period from 1998-2004 is to be considered.
