The viral food delivery rider who was involved in a confrontation with a Traffic Enforcer from Consolacion was reportedly detained for alleged disobedience to uniformed personnel.
The food delivery rider who was identified as Marcelino Merca Sabucido is now detained inside the facilities of the Consolacion Municipal Police. His detention happened after the Consolacion traffic enforcer flagged him down.

Meanwhile, Maricris Modena Vallejos, the traffic enforcer of the Consolacion Traffic Enforcement and Special Service who was filmed hitting a food delivery driver in a now viral video, has filed a case of disobedience against the said driver identified as Marcelino Merca Sabucido at the Consolacion Municipal Police Station on Thursday, August 18, 2021.
The 23-year-old Marcelino Sabucido was already detained since Tuesday, August 17, 2021 after his confrontation with a lady traffic enforcer in Barangay Lamac, Consolacion town in Northern Cebu.
Sabucido is the driver in a viral video on Facebook who got into an argument with Maricris Modena Vallejos, 40, a traffic enforcer of the Consolacion Traffic Enforcement and Special Service (CTESS) and a resident in Oriental Poblacion in Consolacion on Tuesday.
PNP Consolacion stated on their initial investigation that the traffic enforcer manned the traffic in barangay Lamac, and guided the pedestrian. She then ordered a full stop for all vehicles to allow pedestrians to cross.
However, Sabucido reportedly moved at reckless speed going northbound and disregarded the traffic enforcer’s order. He even moved forward in front of the enforcer which started the argument.
The delivery rider suspect also refused to give his license when asked based upon the initial investigation.
