Police Urges Road Rage Bikers to Come Out & Defend Themselves

Police authorities in Mandaue City Cebu urges the alleged road rage bikers in a now viral video would come out so they could tell side of the story and defend themselves. 

According to Police Captain Armil Coloscos, the Chief of Police of Casuntingan Police Station 4 in Mandaue City which was jurisdiction over the area of the road rage incident wherein an alleged biker was caught on camera punching a delivery rider happened. 

The alleged bikers went viral after they were caught on camera hitting a bread delivery rider over traffic altercation on Sunday, August 22, 2021. The bikers were still unknown and their identities were never revealed as of posting time. 

The side of the bikers has yet to be known as of this time, as none of the bikers has come out or filed a formal complaint with the police authorities. 

The motorcycle rider has already filed a complaint with the National Bureau of Investigation in Central Visayas (NBI-7) on Monday, August 23, 2021. 

Based on the viral video, the bikers have received a lot of criticism from netizens over the incident which is now gaining the rounds on social media and went viral with more than 2 million views and still counting. 

According to Police authorities, aside from the physical injury charges, they may also be facing charges of disobedience if proven guilty that they violated Mandaue City Mayor Jonas Cortes' Executive Order No. 27 on leisure biking. 

The bikers could be fined also for violating the city's Bike Ordinance and if it is proven that the bikers claimed to be NBI agents and actually not, additional charges may be filed against them.
