Netizens took to social media as they reacted to Mayor Sara Duterte's expose regarding Rep. Alan Peter Cayetano's alleged veiled threat, that if she endorsed Rep. Velasco for Speaker, she would break up the "group." And this, Cayetano said, will affect the presidential elections of 2022.
Mayor Sara Duterte revealed on her Open Letter to the general public about the controversial issues involving incoming speakership role in the House of Representatives as she revealed the threat she received from former Senator Alan Peter Cayetano.
In an Open Letter, the Presidential Daughter was quoted as saying "Congressman-elect Alan Peter Cayetano was correct when he said that he did not seek for my endorsement when he came to Davao to talk to me sometime last year." Mayor Sara stated.
The tough-talking Lady Mayor of Davao City added further that "He, however, came with a veiled threat, that if I endorse Rep. Velasco for Speaker, I would break up the "group." And this, he said, will affect the presidential elections of 2022." Mayor Sara revealed.
Due to the revelations by Presidential Daughter Mayor Sara Duter, her followers and supporters of Pres. Rody Duterte on social media reacted and lambasted the former Foreign Affairs Secretary for his threat against Mayor Sara who is poised by some DDS as the future President of the Philippines and able successor of Pres. Duterte in 2022.
