Prominent bloggers and supporters of Pres. Rody Duterte slammed former Ombudsman Conchita Carpio Morales for crying foul after being held by immigration authorities in Hong Kong. Bloggers Krizette Laureta Chu and Thinking Pinoy slammed the former Ombudsman for crying foul about her situation in Hong Kong.
According to various news outlets, the former Ombudsman who is an appointee of former Pres. Noynoy Aquino has been held by immigration authorities at the airport in Hong Kong.
The incident happened a days after the former Ombudsman filed a protest against Chinese President Xi Jinping. Morales former Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert Del Rosario recently filed a complaint against Chinese President Xi Jinping before the International Criminal Court in The Hague.
The situation of Morales being held at Hong Kong Airport was confirmed by her legal counsel, Atty. Anne Marie Corominas, who called her from Hong Kong to inform the lawyer of Morales situation.
The incident involving Morales caught the attentions of prominent bloggers Thinking Pinoy and Krizette Laureta Chu who shared their thoughts about the incident involving the Filipino complainant who filed a case against the Chinese President.
