Spox Harry Roque Burns Reporters Who Keeps on Asking Pres. Duterte's Source in Naga City's Illegal Drugs Trade
Veteran international lawyer and Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque burned down reporters anew after they keep on asking where did President Duterte got his reliable sources and information regarding the alleged involvement of VP Leni Robredo's brother-in-law Butch Robredo, the brother of the late DILG Secretary Jesse Robredo.
During the latest press briefing with the Malacanang Press Corps inside the Palace, GMA Reporter Joseph Morong asked Spox Harry Roque on why is it that Pres. Duterte keeps on repeating that the country is better off being govern by a dictator compared to the possibility of VP Leni Robredo's succession as President.
Spox Harry Roque answered Morong by saying that "Siguro po, that's just the personal belief ni President that almost anyone could be better than Robredo with due respect to the Vice President." "It is her personal assessment made by the President," Roque stated.
Pres. Rody Duterte claimed earlier that VP Leni Robredo is not capable of running the country because of his incompetence and beside from being the brother-in-law of the suspected drug lord in the Bicol Region and even dubbed Naga City, the home province of Robredo as the country's "Hotbed of Shabu."

Joseph Morong also insisted on his line of questioning about the issue of the illegal drug trades in Naga City and the basis of the President's statement. Spox Harry Roque explained by saying "Well ah, inulit po iyon ng Presidente, na sinusugan naman ng PNP na talagang mataas ang krimen sa Naga. Uulitin ko lang po ang hamon ay para sa lahat ng siyudad, hindi lang sa Naga, Na patunayan na mababa ang krimen sa kanilang lugar at bumaba na po ang banta laban sa pinagbabawal na gamot." Spox Roque stated.
Presidential Spokesperson reiterated during the press conference, that there is indeed factual basis for anything and everything that the President says, because he has access to information that only the President can have access to. He denied some allegations that the statement of Pres. Duterte is another political persecution but the Palace will wait for the final investigations from authorities.
