Pres. Duterte's Persistent Visit to Benguet Despite Security Issues Not Reported by Mainstream Media
A concerned netizen revealed one of the most interesting event in the life of President Rody Duterte during his visit to Benguet and how he insisted on visiting the dangerous mountains despite security issues but all these things were not reported by the mainstream media.
According to Vicster Cruz the mainstream media did not carry the news about the courage and bravery of the President as he forced his helicopter pilot to fly to Benguet late afternoon last weekend just after Supertyphoon Ompong.
Pres. Rody Duterte asked the pilot to try three times to land in mountainous Benguet but the pilot did not because it was too cloudy and dark already.
Instead of landing at the mountains, Pres. Duterte then ordered to land the chopper in the low lands and traveled by land up to the mountain-to which his escorts did not want him to go-the road are wet and slippery and also because of the possible threat of an NPA ambush.
Pres. Duterte ignored all these warnings from his security-just so he can visit Benguet and help the victims of the landslide and typhoon.
