Kilos Pronto host and considered as one of the country's hard-hitting journalist Ben Tulfo slammed Sen. Antonio Trillanes after reports of Pres. Rody Duterte's revocation of the senator's amnesty was reported by various news media outlets and confirmed by DOJ Sec. Menardo Guevarra.
In the latest episode of Kilos Pronto hosted by Ben Tulfo on September 4, 2018, the veteran journalist admitted that it is indeed a good news for all Filipinos as they feasted on the news about the decision of Pres. Duterte to revoke the senator's amnesty issued earlier by former Pres. Noynoy Aquino.
Ben Tulfo was quoted as saying "Ngayon natikman mo, kung ano yung mga pinagsasabi mo, aba'y nakikita kong kaduwagan. Sabi ho nitong isa na to hindi raw siya tatakas, siya'y mananatili sa loob ng Senado. Ewan natin kung hanggang kailan." Ben Tulfo stated.

The issue here based on Trillanes claims, he is under political persecution by the administration of Pres. Duterte or are we under Martial Law but according to Ben Tulfo, the issue is simple, Trillanes should explained his side and face the real issue.
Tulfo also asked if Sen. Trillanes really filed a petition for his amnesty, because if he failed to do so, he should abide by the rules and face the allegations against him. Ben Tulfo also stated that he is indeed excited with the recent events and the possibilities of Trillanes to be detained because of his non-bailable offenses against the government.
Sen. Antonio Trillanes was one of the junior military leaders who initiated the failed Oakwood Mutiny in 2003 and the Manila Peninsula Hotel Siege during the year 2007 during the administration of former Pres. Gloria Macapagal Arroyo. During the year 2010, he was freed through an amnesty granted by then Philippine President Noynoy Aquino.
