One of the country's most prominent journalist and public servant on TV and Radio, Ben Tulfo accused the mainstream media as the source of "Fake News" in the Philippines.
During an ambushed interview with the mainstream media on Tuesday, Ben Tulfo lambasts the mainstream media for spreading fake news and allegedly biased against himself with their alleged twisted reporting.

Ben Tulfo was quoted as saying "Matagal na akong nanahimik sa inyo. Unang-una wala naman akong nakukuhang patas sa mga balita ninyo eh." "You guys are the source of fake news" Tulfo stated.
The veteran broadcaster also explained and clarified that the Senate Hearing will end up in the court of law, so what's the use. Ben Tulfo stated "Nagsalita ako para makita ng taumbayan. Ayaw ko yong, bato ng bato, bato ng bato." "Tinabla n'yo na ako sa GMA, tinabla n'yo sa ABS, tinabla n'yo ako sa ibang estasyon" Tulfo said.
The controversial media personality, reiterated further that the mainstream media is the source of fake news, and the angle of the news are indeed twisted.
In terms of the controversial DOT ads case presented by COA, Ben Tulfo explained "Ang sinasabi rito ng COA, eh kontrata, anong sinasabi rito ng COA, paano ka nabayaran? may certificate of performance meron kami." Ben Tulfo explained.
