Must Watch: Alleged Fugitive Ardot Parojinog Arrived in the Philippines (Video)

Alleged drug lord and former Ozamiz City Councilor Ricardo "Ardot" Parojinog arrived in the Philippines on Friday night after being deported from Taiwan where he was hiding during the past few months.

Watch the Arrival of Councilor Ardot Parojinog:

Ardot Parojinog was fetched by a tema of Philippine National Police (PNP) operatives onboard Philippine Arilines Flight PR897 which arrived at 9:57 PM at Terminal 2 of the Ninoy Aquino International Airport in Pasay City.

The fugitive and alleged illegal drug leaders in Ozamiz City was placed under arrest by elements of the Crime Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) through the service of four warrants of arrest issued by Branch 15 of the Ozamiz City Regional Trial Court (RTC) for murder, illegal possession of firearms and ammunition (Republic Act 10591) and illegal possession of explosives (RA 9516).

PNP Chief Albayalde Director General Oscar said Parojinog will be sent to Camp Crame in Quezon City for booking procedures and he will be temporarily detained at the PNP Custodial Center pending the procedural return of the arrest warrants to the court of reading in Ozamiz City and subsequent issuance of a commitment order.

The PNP Chief also expressed gratitude to Taiwan authorities for their assistance in capturing Parojinog.

Director General Albayalde was quoted as saying "A PNP team received Parojinog from his Taiwanese custodians at the Pingtung County Detention Center where he served jail time for violation of Immigration laws prior to his deportation,” Albayalde said." Albayalde stated.

Ricardo "Ardot" Parojinog was arrested on May 23 in Pingtung County, Taiwan after he allegedly tried to enter the country using illegal immigration documents.

He went into hiding for 10 months after the bloody raid on their residence in July 2017 where his older brother, Ozamiz City Mayor Reynaldo “Aldong” Parojinog was killed while police found in their possession an arms cache, explosives and drug paraphernalia. Also slain were Reynaldo’s wife and at least 14 others.
