Popular social media personality Thinking Pinoy lectured the controversial celebrity, Kris Aquino who made headlines earlier for ranting and challenging Mocha Uson on social media after the later posted a video of showing Ninoy Aquino being kissed by an airplane passenger before his death.
According to Thinking Pinoy, Kris Aquino should remember that during the year 1987, Philippine Star columnist Luis Beltran wrote that Pres. Cory Aquino hid under her bed during a coup d'etat. Incensed, Cory Aquino sued Beltran and The Star for Libel and the former President herself went as far as showing journalists that she couldn't fit under her bed.
Watch the Video of former Pres. Aquino as Witness Against Luis Beltran:
The veteran author Luis Beltran, who openly criticized Cory Aquino for her incompetence, said his words should not have been taken literally. Nevertheless, Beltran and The Star issued groveling apologies to Pres. Aquino for the supposed misunderstanding.
Cory Aquino didn't accept Beltran and the Star's apology, but Aquino still pursued the case, with her even sitting on the witness stand WHILE SHE WAS STILL THE PRESIDENT OF THE REPUBLIC, as shown in the accompanying video clip.
Luis Beltran and The Star was convicted as the court ruled in favor of Aquino in 1992, sentencing Beltran and Star editor Max Soliven to 2 years in prison, and ordered them to pay P2 million in damages.
Here's the Complete Lecture of Thinking Pinoy Intended to Kris Aquino:
TULAD NI PNOY, TILA ANG DAMI RING #HINDIALAM NI KRIS
In 1987, Philippine Star columnist Luis Beltran wrote that President Corazon "Cory" Aquino hid under her bed during a coup d'etat. Incensed, Aquino sued Beltran and the Star for Libel, and Aquino even went as far as showing journalists that she couldn't fit under her bed.

BELTRAN AND STAR CONVICTED
The court ruled in favor of Aquino in 1992, sentenced Beltran and Star Editor Max Soliven to 2 years in prison, and ordered them to pay Php 2 million in damages.
The Duterte Government's issue against Rappler is about foreign ownership, which directly affects National Security. Meanwhile, the Aquino Government's issue against the Star is about defamation, and issue that Star has apologized for, an issue that affected nothing but Aquino's fragile ego.
The Duterte Government simply rescinded Rappler's corporate registration, which does not prevent Rappler from covering Malacanang. It is a mere administrative case that involved no jail sentences and no fines. Meanwhile, the Aquino Government -- through no less than SITTING PRESIDENT CORAZON AQUINO HERSELF-- aggressively sent journalists to jail.
Isipin mo ha, ang sinabi lang ni Beltran e nagtago si Cory sa ilalim kama.
O di ba?
If there's a government that really directly attacked press freedom, it's the Government of Cory Aquino, the Government of the person that the Yellow Bleeding Hearts adore.
So please Kris Aquino, don't tell us that your parents did nothing wrong. We owe your parents democracy? Anong democracy? Democracy basta sang-ayon kayo?
Nge. Magkape ka nga at nang kabahan ka naman.
Never Forget.
