The tough-talking President of the Philippines, Pres. Rody Duterte revealed some possible reasons why the controversial priest, Father Mark Anthony Ventura was murdered in cold-blood by unknown riding-in-tandem assailant.
According to Pres. Duterte, he suspected that the controversial priest was murdered due to his illicit affairs with some women in the community where he served as parish priest.
During the speech of Pres. Duterte in Tabogon, Cebu, he showed a matrix showing the total of eight relationships of the priests with different women. Although the President did not name the particular priest but some photos circulating online showed that the said priest was no other than Father Ventura.
It is also clear in the photo matrix shared by Pres. Duterte to the media and to his audience in Cebu that the name of Father Mark Anthony appeared.
According to some reports, the eight relationships of the priests, involves wives of a Vice Mayor, Police Officer, Soldier and a certain businessman.
The President suspected that the one of husband who discovered the illicit affairs of his wife with Father Mark Anthony could possibly be the suspect of the killing or the mastermind of the said incident resulting to the death of the controversial priest.
President Duterte also noted during the said speech in Tabogon taht the New People's Army (NPA) and the national government were never involved in the untimely demise of the parish priest but the President did not release additional information on where did he got the matrix of the priest's illicit affairs.
As far as we can remember, Father Mark Anthony Ventura was murdered by some unidentified riding in tandem operatives, after he finished his mass last April in Gattaran, Cagayan.
