Veteran international lawyer and prominently known as the sister of the late Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago, Atty. Paula Defensor-Knack calls for the attention of the national government to bring back controversial COMELEC Chief Andres Bautista to face allegations thrown against him in the Philippines.
Atty. Paula Defensor-Knack, the sister of the late Sen. Miriam Defensor-Santiago asked the government to bring back former COMELEC Commissioner Andres Bautista to the Philippines to face some charges thrown against him.
According to the veteran international lawyer, the Filipino people need to know the whole truth about electoral fraud, fake elected officials, use of income from the Presidential Commission on Good Governance (PCGG) companies and his massive unexplained wealth.
Atty. Knack noted that the Philippines is now in a mess because Chairman Bautista allegedly allowed electroal fraud to happen and allegedly received bribes for it. The veteran lawyer stated that the former Comelec Commissioner should be held responsbile for his mess and he should proved that he is innocent by facing the allegations thrown at him by his critics.
