Netizens Reacts on the Alleged Credit-Grabbing Statement of Sen. Bam Aquino on MRT's Performance

Netizens reacted on the controversial and alleged credit-grabbing statement of Sen. Bam Aquino with regards to the successful operations and performance of the Metro Rail Transit (MRT-3) after the scheduled maintenance.


A viral meme is now spreading like wildfire on social media wherein Sen. Bam Aquino allegedly stated that "Dahil sa masigasig nating pagtutok sa usapin ng aberya ng MRT-3, napabilis ang pagkilos para sa pagkumpuni nito. Sa ngayon, meron ng 16 tren and tumatakbo." Bam Aquino allegedly said.

Although there is no clear indication yet whether the senator really made the controversial statement but most netizens on social media reacted immediately to the alleged credit-grabbing activities of Sen. Bam Aquino.



The senator made headlines on various local and international media as well as in the social media sphere for his credit-grabbing activities in one of the most important laws ever passed under the Duterte administration, the Free Tertiary Education Law which he co-authored.

For the past few months after the passage of the Free Tertiary Education Law, Sen. Bam Aquino was visible in most of the activities involving free college education. He is also credited himself as the proponent of the said law during most of his speaking engagements.



Meanwhile, back to the issues of the MRT, the statement of Sen. Bam Aquino about his credit-grabbing statement, the said statement is not available on his official Facebook Page as well as on his website.

Despite the non-availability of Sen. Aquino's statement on his website and social media pages, netizens took to social media as they lambasted the Senator.
