A Malaysian based Filipino burned down Maria Ressa anew on social media after she posted a misleading tweets on her Twitter account that says "'Black propaganda' under Duterte admin reduced trust in media," Ressa said on Twitter.
The statement of Maria Ressa did not sit well among netizens particularly to a Malaysian based Filipino who burned down Maria Ressa by replying "Sorry miss Ressa, but even my journo friends here in Malaysia think PH journos are a bunch of entitled dictators that want to control public opinion," the unnamed Twitter user said.
The concerned Twitter user added further that "Your 'troll' and 'threat' problem? They find it very funny and ironic cos even they have it here and it's no big deal," the Pinoy based in Malaysia added.
Maria Ressa's statement against the government of Pres. Rody Duterte only showed how Rappler's management felt threatened with the administration's move to unravel their secrets of being biased on their reporting.
Most netizens on social media who saw the post of Maria Ressa which was burned down by a Malaysian based Pinoy reacted with the said viral post and lauded the courage of the Filipino who responded to Ressa's spreading of alleged fake news.
