Veteran journalist and a well-known social media personality, Jojo Robles burns a particular Dilawan supporter who blamed Pres. Rody Duterte for the fall out of Uber in the Philippines due to its sell-out to its competitor Grab.
Jojo Robles explained that the ride-sharing outfit Uber sold its majority stake in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, to rival Grab.
The declaration of Mardi Mapa-Suplido that President Rody Duterte had somehow forced Uber to sell is an evidence of a complete fake news, the woman also noted that Pres. Duterte "harassed" Uber into selling, without presenting a shred of proof.
In burning down the Dilawan supporter, Jojo Robles also noted that the truth, o course, had everything to do with uber's international and regional financial problems and nothing at all to do with Duterte.
Here's the Complete Statement of Jojo Robles:
This is a slow week, so I only have a small story to tell.
On Monday, ride-sharing outfit Uber announced it was selling its majority stake in Southeast Asia, including the Philippines, to rival Grab.
A group of Yellows, including the woman below, immediately declared in FB that Duterte had somehow forced Uber to sell.
In an accompanying explanatory thread, public in its setting, she explained that Duterte had “harassed” Uber into selling, without presenting a shred of proof.
The truth, of course, had everything to do with Uber’s international and regional financial problems and nothing at all to do with Duterte.
When this was pointed out to her by a friend, the woman immediately blocked the latter.
The takeaway is simple: the Yellows, despite their claims of being way smarter than Duterte supporters, are really a lot more stupid.
And they will brook no opposition to their claims of moral, intellectual and all other sorts of totally unfounded superiority from anyone.
This, nearly two years after they have been unmasked as lying hypocrites and blind supporters of a clueless, thieving and incompetent administration.
There can be no reconciliation with such people. Their dogmatism is beyond revision, their ignorance invincible.
The only consolation the rest of us can have is that they keep losing adherents and have made themselves totally irrelevant.
But they’re still there. Just so you know.
