Viral Video Footage of the Controversial Empty Senate During Trillanes Speech

Sen. Antonio Trillanes made headlines anew on social media after photos of his privilege speech featuring an almost empty Senate seat went viral on social media. Aside from the photos, a video evidence was presented by Facebook Page Duterte Express, showing evidence that there is indeed an almost empty Senate during the speech of Mr. Trillanes.

Photos of Sen. Trillanes speaking in front of the members of the Senate drew flak on social media after netizens revealed that during the privilege speech of the senator who is considered as one of the primary critics of the Duterte administration, there were empty seats because most of the senators were reportedly not interested in Trillanes statement.

The latest video footage about the empty senate seats during Trillanes speech is currently making the rounds on social media.

Although most videos circulating on various news media outlets focuses only on the slides and the face of Trillanes, some Senate visitors were able to take a sneak peak of the empty Senate.

Malacanang already released a statement against the speech of Trillanes who launched another "empty tirade" against Pres. Rody Duterte, who revealed information earlier about the alleged offshore accounts of Trillanes.

Sen. Trillanes revealed on his latest speech that Pres. Duterte allegedly "buy" the purported documents worth P10 million from a certain Daniel "Snooky" Cruz.
