There's no record of the names of 119 congressmen who voted to support the P1,000 budget for the CHR. Netizens were curious of the names of the politicians who voted against the decision of the House of Representatives to give just P1,000 budget for CHR while the supporters of CHR dubbed the 32 lawmakers as their heroes.
The P1,000 budget of the Commission on Human Rights will render the agency useless in 2018. For salary alone, the agency needs millions to provide for them. CHR Commissioner Chito Gascon earned P2.5 million last 2016 as his salary for the Commission on Human Rights (CHR).
