The Philippines marginalized sector, the Senior Citizen party-list group hopes to be proclaimed by the COMELEC soon after the Supreme Court ordered to reserve Congress seats for the group.
The Senior Citizens party was previously included in the list of non-qualified Party-List groups but they have gained huge number of votes.
Senior citizens ranked 10th in the party-list race after getting over 600,000 votes.
Senior Citizens party-list representative Godofredo Arquiza says the status quo ante order from the high court proves the group did not violate any rule to merit their disqualification.
