The Philippines hosted the FIBA Asia 2013 Draw for the groupings of the highly-anticipated Asian Basketball Championship this coming August 2013.
The Philippines have the chance to choose in which group they wanted to join as part of their benefits as host of the event. The Gilas Pilipinas National Team choose to be part of Group A with West Asian powerhouse Jordan leading the group.
