According to Kris Aquino she gave priority to the city of Kabankalan because of the fact that her former husband hailed from Kabankalan.

Kris also urged the people of Kabankalan to always remember the people who helped them in times of needs.
“Kaya sana maalala niyo kung sino po ang tumulong sa inyo sa oras ng inyong pangangailangan. Dahil po yan sa pagmamahal namin sa lahat ng mga Pilipino,” Aquino stated.
