US-Based Pinoy Auditor Says Duterte is Correct-COA Needs to Stop Releasing Incomplete Audit Reports

A US-Based Pinoy Certified Internal Auditor defends Pres. Rody Duterte's latest tirades against the Commission on Audit (COA) as he sided with the President by saying that COA needs to stop releasing incomplete audit reports.

The US-Based auditor was identified as Matutis Rolando, who introduced himself as a Certified Internal Auditor by the Institute of Internal Auditors in Florida USA. He responded into the questions asked by veteran singer Richard Poon who asked a question regarding the issue involving COA.

Pres. Rody Duterte castigated the Commission on Audit earlier as seen in the video below, for releasing incomplete audit report and appealed to COA to stop publishing initial reports.

According to the US-Based auditor, the President is right. In audit, our auditee has the right of reply and/or before issuing an audit report to the intended users, you have to discuss your audit observation first to the person subjected for audit.

Matutis added fruther that it is a Mortal Sin for auditor to issue a report without communicating the issue and/or getting the comments of the auditee.

The US-based auditor even noted that "Mumurahin ka ng auditee mo kapag nag-issue ka ng findings na di mo naipapaalam sa kanila."
