Concerned netizens took to social media as they slammed veteran journalist and video presenter Kim Atienza for his unsolicited statement criticizing the coverage of ABS-CBN's coverage on the wedding of Rep. Toto Mangudadatu.
ABS-CBN reported that Rep. Toto Mangudadatu is now married to beauty queen Sharifa Akeel, the 2018 Mutya ng Piliipas titleholder and Miss Asia Pacific International 2018.
The 24-year-old beauty queen weds veteran politician Rep. Esmael "Toto" Mangudadatu who made national headlines when his entire family was involved in the controversial Ampatuan massacre in Maguindanao.
Kim Atienza could no longer hold his emotions as he took to social media and shared his frustrations with the recent coverage of the Mangudadatu's wedding.
The veteran TV presenter criticized his own TV Network by saying that "When this man and his family was under attack by the Ampatuan ABS-CB was his ally and gave him all the exposure he needed. When ABS was under attack in congress, This man sided with our enemies and voted AGAINST our franchise renewal. Now we are even covering his wedding. Had to say that. Bak to you guys."
When bombarded with negative comments on his comments, Kim Atienza clarified that Mangudadatu is not his enemy. He was just stating a fact.
The statement of Kim Atienza caught the attentions of so many netizens including the DDS bloggers and supporters on social media as they burned down and slammed Kim Atienza for his latest statement against Rep. Mangudadatu.
