rewading stupidity

We warned in the early part of May about Angel Locin's Birthday Pantry of Doom- not a month has passed and here comes another super spreader event in Quezon City: Councilor Franz Pumaren's "Community Pantry".

How could anyone fail to understand the dangers of mass gathering thru this political gimmickry that is attributed to AP Non? Last week, Pumaren beat Locsin by drawing in a crowd of 6,000 to "get as much as they want" (kumuha ayon sa pangangailangan).

It does not matter how much food they actually got- what matters is that as of yesterday, official reports came out that 56 have tested positive and got covid, instead.

This event prompted the Quezon City government to conduct RT PCR tests on around 700 attendees. Field reports aired over the radio count even more than 70 confirmed infections out of the partial results (some tests have yet to be released). This is no joke- at P3,000 per test, the City government may have spent more than P 2.1 Million in these tests.

You will also recall that Grace Poe authored on May 10: Senate Resolution No. 714 "Commending Ana Patricia Non and the volunteers of Hundreds of Community Pantries All Over the Country for IGNITING THE TRUE BAYANIHAN SPIRIT OF FILIPINOS Amid the Covid-19 Pandemic". ├╝LOL. You call spreading the disease that caused the pandemic- bayanihan?

It is not surprising that there is actually a possible connection between Franz and Grace- they are both affiliated with the Nationalist People's Coalition- another political party associated with Danding Cojuangco. When will you people ever start thinking about actually helping this country? Or at the very least- start thinking...
