Veteran lawyer and prominent defender of Pres. Rody Duterte on social media, Atty. Nick Nangit shared his response to Kakie Pangilinan's plea to critics to stop the harsh criticism on her singing voice.
The daughter of Sen. Kiko Pangilinan and singer-actress Sharon Cuneta, Kakie Pangilinan who claimed to be a singer and musician, was livid after finding out that netizens, especially her critics are attacking her singing voice during a TV show, and her singing and writing on social media.
Kakie Pangilinan, an avid critic of the Duterte administration asked her critics if they have heard her sing or read her writing? Otherwise, they'd rather shut up before they ruin what she loves the most - singing.
The statement of Kakie Pangilinan on social media caught the attention of veteran lawyer Atty. Nick Nangit and told Kakie Pangilinan to shut up and stop complaining because as a public figure, criticism is part of the job.
The veteran lawyer also undermine or questioned Kakie Pangilinan's believe that she can sing as he was quoted as saying "Hoy, singing na tawag diyan?! Iba tawan namin!" Atty. Nick added.
Atty. Nick replied by asking Sharon and Kiko's daughter who is she to take such demands as he remind Kakie that when she joined the showbiz industry, she should have been prepared to receive criticisms. Otherwise, she better shut up.
