Veteran broadcaster and political analyst Jay Sonza revealed some of the possible reasons why the Philippines decided to chose Chinese-made vaccine, SinoVac over the more popular Western Made vaccines.
According to Jay Sonza, the leadership of the Duterte administration decided to chose the Chinese-made vaccines because of storage and refrigeration problems.
The statement of Sonza came out after numerous reports spreading on social media regarding the alleged comparison of SinoVac to other vaccines from Western countries.
The veteran journalist explained that the choosy Filipinos should be aware of the possible conditions of the COVID-19 vaccines, particularly those vaccines from Pfizer-BionTech, Moderna or AztraZenica-Oxford Biotech.
According to reports there's some problems with the storage of those vaccines, the country should prepare for a cold storage at -50 to -70 degrees facility which is worth P900,000.00 per unit capacity of 1,000 doses.

So, kung kailangan ninyo ng 100,000 doses, kailangan maglaan kayo ng additional P90 million para sa storage facilities.
FYI. kapag nabuksan ang isang Karton, kailangan maiturok lahat sa takdang oras lamang.
Hindi na ito maaring ibalik sa storage dahil napapanis ito kapag nabuksan na.
