SAQ Officer Reveals Process on How DITO Telecom Chooses Lots for Tower Construction

An alleged Site Acquisition (SAQ) Officer revealed on social media the exact process on how DITO Telecom chooses lots for their tower construction in various parts of the country.

According to Facebook user, Ronald Rafer on his reminders to all land owners or lot owners, they should realized that there is no "random" selection of lots for DITO Towers or cell sites to be constructed.

It is indeed not an assurance that if you a lot for lease or sell, it can be easily chosen by DITO Telecom to be used as a possible cell site construction area.

There is what we called as exact cellsite grid coordinates that came from the network planning department who will provide the exact size and distance of every tower from each other and the distance also depends upon Radio Frequency tuning and signal reach.

If you lot or property is in the right place and located exactly where the nominal site coordinates appeared, the persons who owned the lots will be lucky enough because an offer will be given to them, subject to the confirmity and acceptance of the terms of contract offered to them by the SAQ officer.

DITO Telecom reminded everybody that they don't have any authorized agents who will be looking for lots and asked for various documents regarding the said property, and most of all there is no "processing fee" or any payment that the landowners will pay to DITO Telcom to process the documents.

Once the lots are qualified to be used as a cellular sites for DITO Telecom, a SAQ Officer will approach the landowners to finalized the owner's decision to sell or rent the area.

Paalala sa mga Lot Owner,

With that being said, if your lot/property is in the right place at natapatan ng nominal site coordinates, suwerte po ninyo dahil maaaring mapatayuan ang property nyo ng tower, subject to your conformity and acceptance po sa terms ng kontrata na io-offer sa inyo.

6. After the first 4 years and succeeding po tumataas ang rental fee ayun sa assessment ng LGU, approximately 4.5% po ang itataas.
