Blogger Explain Why the Government Should NOT be Blamed for ABS-CBN Closure

Veteran blogger and prominent social media personality Krizette Laureta Chu explained the reasons why the government should not be blamed for the closure of ABS-CBN. An overwhelming 70 legislators at the House of Representatives deny the network a new franchise.

According to Krizette Chu, ABS-CBN big bosses and owners for years have abused their standing and power, they could do whatever they wanted because the politicians were afraid of them and the power they held and now today it's ended.

It is not the fault of the government when this lawbreaking entity-which promised to change now that their mistakes have been put under the spotlight-have acted with so much impunity in decades.

The veteran blogger also added that they should asked their bosses some significant questions which are listed below.

- May retirement plan ba kami?
- May financial packages ba kami?
- Those of us who gave you the best years and decades of your lives, if you lay us off,  what will you give us in return?
- will you regularize employees now? Will you regularize camera men and gofers and PAs?
- will you regularize employees now? Will you regularize camera men and gofers and PAs?
Kasi KAHIT government ang nagpa sara sa company nila , they should know they are entitled to benefits.

ABS CBN big bosses and owners for years have abused their standing and power. They could do whatever they wanted because the politicians were afraid of them and the power they held.

And now today it’s ended. Sino ang kawawa? Sila, who have billions in their banks, comfy in their mansions? Or the small employees, who are not even regular employees, who are, like most regular employees, have barely six months worth of savings?

To save 11,000 employees, what will the government do, allow a lawbreaking corporate entity to continue with impunity, or stop them, but sacrifice 11,000 small employees?

And why is it the fault of the government when this lawbreaking entity—which promised to change now that their mistakes have been put under the spotlight—have acted with so much impunity in decades?

Maraming negosyo sa Pilipinas. Most of them are trying to be honest. Most of them are trying to pay taxes even if it takes a huge chunk of money.

The oligarchs have brainwashed their employees into thinking it’s the government’s fault that they’ve lost their jobs. So they cannot be questioned about their carelessness, their behavior, and their impunity.

But they could not have done this forever—they would have found a match. They should have known that they will face judgment day.
ABS CBN’s employees have been trained to think to blame somebody else but their own company. They’re being trained to blame the wrong people.

But they should turn around and start asking their big bosses questions:

- May retirement plan ba kami?
- May financial packages ba kami?
- Those of us who gave you the best years and decades of your lives, if you lay us off,  what will you give us in return?
- will you regularize employees now? Will you regularize camera men and gofers and PAs?
Kasi KAHIT government ang nagpa sara sa company nila , they should know they are entitled to benefits.

ABS CBN’s big bosses and owners should stop hiding behind their employees, and directly address the concerns of the employees. They’re using them as shield while trying to find a way to minimize their sins.

If you’re a lawyer and you really care for the ABS CBN employees, then offer your services for free and fight for their labor rights.

Don’t make employees like battered wives who can’t get out of a bad relationship because they depend on their husbands for finances.
