Newly-elected lawmaker of the Philippine Republic, Senator Bong Go lectured the mainstream media during an ambushed interview after some members of the media questioned about his appearance in various government projects and activities helping the poor accusing him of politicking.
Sen. Bong Go was quoted as saying "Kahit saang sulok kayo ng Pilipinas, tapos na po ang eleksyon, kampanya pa rin ba ang tingin n'yo rito?" Sen. Go asked the media.
The former Special Assistant to the President asked the mainstream media to answer some personal questions from him, after numerous accusations and blind items posted by some media companies about his alleged politicking activities.
Sen. Bong Go asked "Di ba before ng eleksyon, nung umiikot ako sinasabi nila na nangangampanya, di ba tapos na ang eleksyon? Pangangampanya ba itong nagbibigay ka ng tulong. Sagutin n'yo ako? Ako naman po ang magtatanong sa inyo, tapos na po ang eleksyon, before the election sinasabi nila early campaigning, tapos na po ang eleksyon, senador na po ako." Sen. Go asked.
The senator also explained that the Filipino people really needs the help of the government therefore his presence is badly needed to provide the much needed help.
"Hindi ko po matiis na nakaupo lang dyan sa senado, mga kababayan natin dito nag-aantay ng tulong, nagmamakaawa, humihingi ng tulong. Nandito po ako para bigyan kaagad ng solusyon, ang mga problema nila." Sen. Bong Go stated.
The senator also noted that he will support anybody who will continue the legacy and the changes that President Rody Duterte started as the country's chief executive. He is even willing to be the campaign manager of anyone who will run for President provided that they will continue the plans of the former Mayor of Davao City.
Sen. Bong Go pinpointed ABS-CBN, one of the country's largest news media network for their allegations against him regarding early campaigning.
