Must Watch: Former BuCor Chief Nic Faeldon Accuses Lacson Son of Smuggling

Former Customs Commissioner and BuCor Chief Nicanor Faeldon accused the son of Senator Panfilo "Ping" Lacson of smuggling in viral video which was posted during the year 2017 but resurfaced anew on social media.

Nicanor Faeldon made the claim against the son of Sen. Ping Lacson in a press briefing in Taytay, Rizal, a day after Sen. Lacson delivered a privilege speech on the extent of corruption in the Bureau of Customs (BOC), an accused Faeldon and other top officials of accepting bribes.

The former rebel soldier revealed in a video interview with Rappler last 2017 that he discovered Panfilo Lacson Jr's company - Bonjourno Trading - brought in shipments of cement amounting to P106 million and undervalued them by 50%.

The former Bureau of Corrections Director General Faeldon made headlines earlier for the controversial GCTA Law which resulted into his personal appearance at a Senate Hearing due to an investigation in aid of legislation regarding the said law.

The GCTA Law became the hottest topic not only on social media but also in the mainstream media because of the supposed release of convicted former Mayor of Calauan, Calamba for his good behavior in relation to the controversial law passed during the time of the Aquino administration.

According to some reports there are discrepancies with the implementation of the law and the approval of the questionable Implementing Rules and Regulations which was reportedly crafted by former DOJ Secretary Leila De Lima and former DILG Secretary Mar Roxas.
