Sen. Dela Rosa filed a resolution to launch an inquiry but he did not mention the Kabataan Partylist, but according to Elago they received an invitation to attend the hearing.
Kabataan Party-list represented by Congresswoman Sarah Elago did participate on the said hearing but released some statements through the media.
According to Elago, the intent of the hearing is to harass the organizations involved in various protest actions and the hearing is also an an attack against the youths in schools.
Atty. Trixie Angeles explained that the organizations like Kabataan Party-list and Anakbayan who were reportedly aligned with the leftists should know that they could be questioned anytime by the legislature, the SEC and even the COMELEC.
The Kabataan Party-list should stop crying about harassment against the government because for they always questioned the government through various protests and disruptions in the streets.
