The country's most popular local chief executive nowadays on social media, Manila City Mayor Isko Moreno made headlines anew on social media as he personally cleans Andres Bonifacio Monument.
Mayor Isko Moreno proved once and for all that he is not yet done with his mission to clean up the once neglected Andres Bonifacio Monument.
The former TV and Movie personality worked even on Saturday, he just came back from MVP Superhero Fun Run and quickly went back to work to supervise the cleaning operations in the famous landmark in Lawton which was allegedly neglected by the previous administrations.
In the now-viral live video posted by Mayor Moreno, it showed the staffs of Manila City Government using a power washer to clean the surroundings of the monument.
During the cleaning operations, Mayor Isko was quoted as saying "Tanggal ang libag! Eto ang tunay na paligo ng Maynila," Moreno told his colleagues who helped in the cleaning operations.
The Manila Mayor observed that the power washer is very useful in cleaning after he noticed that the equipment quickly removed the dirt from the surface of the monument.
Mayor Moreno also didn't waste the opportunity to try cleaning the monument using the power washer personally, and it seems that the Mayor is having fun using it.
Mayor Isko also described that the experience of cleaning the Bonifacio Monument using the power washer as "satisfying." The cleaning of the monument is the third time that the Mayor documented his activities with the help of the City government employees.
Aside from the cleaning operations conducted at the Monument, Mayor Isko Moreno also put more lights around the park so the people could enjoy staying there even at night. He also relieved the PCP Commander of Lawton for neglecting the park that is only 50 steps away from the Manila City Hall.
