There is indeed no holidays for the tough-talking President of the Philippines as he continued his duty as the country's chief executive even during the June 5, 2019 Eid El-Fitr Holiday yesterday when he and his team visited the Province of Sulu.
Pres. Rody Duterte declared June 5 as a Regular National Holiday throughout the country in observance of the Eid'l Fitrs, the end of the Islamic Holy Month of Ramadan. Its marks the end of the fasting month of Ramadan for Muslims.
Despite the national holiday, the President continued his usual service to the general public as he allowed himself to visit one of the most dangerous province in the country, the island province of Sula in Southern Mindanao.

Pres. Duterte visited all the wounded soldiers in Camp Teodulfo Bautista Station Hospital in Jolo, Sulu. He visited the soldiers who were wounded in a firefight with Abu Sayyaf terrorists in Jolo.
The President was accompanied by incoming Senator and former Special Assistant Bong Go and Defense Chief Delin Lorenzana as they checked on 15 wounded soldiers who suffered injuries during a clash with some Abu Sayyaf bandits in Patikul, Sulu.
The President led the awarding of medals to military personnel and donning of ranks to Brig. Gen. Divino Rey Pabayo of Joint Task Force-Sulu and Brig. Gen. Andres Centino of the Armed Forces of the Philippines Operations.
Duterte conferred the Order of Lapu-Lapu with the Rank of Kampilan on 11 soldiers wounded during the May 31 encounter with the Abu Sayyaf Group at Barangay Pansul, Patikul, Sulu.
The recipients of the Order of Lapu-Lapu were Cpl. Arsenio Opaco Jr., Cpl. Sonny Jumoc, Pfc. Edwin Yurong, Pfc. Edeson Alom, Pfc. Abduhasad Baladji, Pcf. Joevertt Ramirez, Pvt. Dominic Osorio, Pvt. Jeric Peñaredondo, Pvt. Raymund Balambao, Pvt. Ramil Diaz Jr., and Pvt. Albert Daligdig.
