Veteran blogger and prominent social media personality MJ Quiambao Reyes burned down Sen. Risa Hontiveros after she released a statement criticizing the administration of Pres. Duterte on their response with the recent incident in the Recto Bank involving Filipino and Chinese fishermen.
Sen. Risa Hontiveros was quoted as saying "Your statement on the Recto Bank hit-&-run incident reveals a lot. Thank you for confirming who you truley are, Mr. Pres: violent & cruel towards the poor, foul-mouthed & obscene to women & democracy advocates, but feckless & spineless before China. Shame."
MJ Reyes disagreed with Hontiveros as she slammed and burned down the senator by saying "Shame on you to interpret his statement that way. What do you want him to do? Declare war against China unreasonably & prematurely while the boat media claimed to have sunk is afloat, all 22 men unharmed, & investigation ongoing?"
The veteran blogger was referring to the incident in 2012 wherein Pres. Aquino clarifie that the Philippines is not accusing a Chinese vessel of bumping a Philippine boat in Scarborough Shoal. The collision occured last June 20, 2012, leaving one Filipino fisherman dead, 3 wounded and 4 others missing.

Dear Ms. Hontiveros,
Where were you when the previous admin (where you belong) was overly cautious and was even quick to absolve China despite the reported death & injuries (of Filipino fishermen) on similar incident between China & Philippines in 2012?

What else do you want this admin to do now apart from calling out China, filing a diplomatic protest (w/c they already did!), and extending help to our fishermen (w/c is also in place) even when all 22 are alive, their boat afloat, & investigation still ongoing?
Our President as well as his many supporters (myself included) care for our fishermen, our people, our country way beyond words.
Cautiousness is different from cowardice.
Recklessness is not the same as bravery.
Your statement & displaced boldness is tantamount to stupidity.
