Some photos showing evidence that former Ilocos Norte Governor Imee Marcos attended the University of the Philippines and the world-renowned Princeton University in the United States resurfaced online debunking the highly publicized news reports that the former Presidential daughter of the Marcos Family lied on her educational attainment.
A concerned netizen revealed on Facebook that according to her friend whose father was a top official of DECS during the time of Pres. Marcos, during the Cory Aquino admin, Pres. Cory allegedly ordered the University of the Philippines (UP) to delete all the records of Imee Marcos from the University.
The former top official of DECS revealed that what the Aquino wanted is the Marcos golds and they just wanted to paint a bad impression for the Marcos Family.
The DECS official also noted that the Aquino Family got angry with the Marcos Family because of the fact that the late President already planned to distribute the ownership of Hacienda Luisita to deserving farmers.
