A veteran blogger, prominent social media personality and radio host Atty. Bruce Villafuerte Rivera was on "beast mode" after reports of the death of Christine Silawan spreads like wildfire on social media.
According to Atty. Bruce Rivera, "Anger is an Understatement" on what he felt on the brutal rape and murder of the 16-year-old. The victim was found dead in Sitio Mahayahay, Barangay Bankal, Lapu-Lapu City Monday morning, March 11, 2019.
Police authorities discovered Christine Silawan, no longer had pants on and her face was skinned to the bone. Silawan's mother told police her daughter was going to church for her Sunday obligation at that time.
Atty. Rivera on his latest social media post asked all his followers whether the tragedy that happened to the victim was made by some normal people because normal people could not do such a brutal incident.
The veteran lawyer is also calling for the attention of the Commission on Human Rights (CHR) and all the critics of Pres. Rody Duterte's war on drugs to come out and denounce the brutal killing of the innocent victim.
Atty. Rivera reminded the CHR and other concerned organizations and the Catholic Church that now is the time for them to show their sincere empathy to the victim as what they did earlier with Kian, the alleged victim of the PNP's EJK.

Sa palagay niyo ba normal ang gagawa nito? Halimaw lang ang pwedeng mangahasa, magnakaw at babalatan ang mukha. Kahit kamatayan ng sino mang pumatay kay Christine ay hindi karampatang parusa because no one deserves to die like this.
Kung si Kian na pinatay na nakadamit, halos maubos ang boses niyo ipagsigawan ang kamatayan bakit wala kayong imik, mga kritiko ng drug campaign ni PRD. Saan tayo dapat mangamba, mamatay sa EJK o mamatay na walang dignidad kasi binalatan ang mukha?
Hindi po gawain ng pulis ito. Hindi ito EJK. Ito yung kamatayan na kinakatakutan natin nung naghahari pa ang mga drug lord.
