One of the country's mos popular Facebook Page advocating freedom of expression on social media, Ang Malayang Pilipino exposed alleged evidence showing sabotage and censorship of Atty. Glenn Chong's statement during the recently concluded ABS-CBN Debate featuring different senatorial candidates.
During the introduction of Atty. Glenn Chong in the Harapan 2019 Senatorial Debate, the veteran lawyer started his speech with an introduction of his professional qualification. He is a veteran lawyer and a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), the only one in this batch of the senatorial aspirant.
Atty. Glenn Chong is a former Representative of the Province of Biliran, and revealed that after the 2010 elections, he was able to uncover evidence and traces of cheating with the use of Smartmatic election system.

As he continued with his statement the live streaming coverage of ABS-CBN on Facebook stopped with no clear explanations from the media company.
Athough the coverage of ABS-CBN continued on live national TV but in social media, the only space that Atty. Chong could compete against the alleged biased entity was cut short.
Netizens took to social media and bombarded ABS-CBN with the message of anger and discontent over their live streaming coverage on social media.
According to some vocal netizens, the discontinued live streaming of the debate featuring Atty. Chong is a huge sign that they are afraid of the things that Chong would like to expose in the world of social media, which is now considered as a vital force to reckon with in terms of election awareness.
