Veteran lawyer and prominent social media personality Atty. Larry Gadon who is now running for a seat in the Philippine Senate slammed Karen Davila and ABS-CBN for asking questions related to the Marcos Family.
The veteran lawyer was asked by Karen Davila during ABS-CBN's Halalan 2019 Senatorial Debate about the human rights violations during the time of Martial Law.
Atty. Larry Gadon answered there are more human rights violations committed during the time of the Marcos presidency.

The veteran lawyer and self-confessed Marcos loyalist was quoted as saying "Mas marami ang human rights violations noong panahon ni Cory Aquino, andyan yong Mendiola Massacre, andyan yong pinatay ang mga union leaders ng Hacienda Luisita." Karen Davila tried to intervened but failed as Atty. Gadon continued with his answer.
Atty. Gadon added further that "Sa panahon ni Noynoy yong ano, SAF 44, mas marami ang human rights violations sa mga Aquino."
Karen Davila then asked a related question to Atty. Gadon, Karen Davila was quoted as saying "Maraming nagsasabi na dapat humingi ang mga Marcos ng sorry sa kanilang human rights violations, sang-ayon ka ba dito?"
Atty. Gadon replied by saying "Hindi, sapagkat kinakailangan ang Martial Law ng time na yon upang wag tayong masakop ng mga komunista. Yung maraming namatay nong time ng Martial Law ay mga NPA na pinatay ni Joma dahil gusto nilang sumusurrender. Yan ay malaking katotohanan yan."
